Your safety matters. We encourage you to follow these tips when meeting people online and in person.

Before You Meet

• Get to know the person through chat and video calls
• Look for red flags: pressure to meet quickly, requests for money, or inconsistent stories
• Tell a friend or family member where you're going and who you're meeting
• Search their name and profile online

When Meeting in Person

• Meet in a public place for the first few times
• Arrange your own transportation—don't rely on them for a ride
• Stay sober and aware of your surroundings
• Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, leave

Protect Your Information

• Don't share your password, address, or financial details with matches
• Be cautious about sharing photos or personal information too quickly
• Report suspicious profiles or requests

Report and Block

If someone behaves inappropriately, harasses you, or asks for money, use the Report and Block features in the app. We take reports seriously.
